Looking into buying a new VW van for conversion into a camper van - can anyone explain T4/T5 etc? - t5 camper van problems

I think we have a VW Transporter van with windows on a basic model for the conversion, but also provide T26, T28, T30, T32, and do not understand what it means and who is better ... much help appreciated

Take a look here.
T5 is the current model.
I have a 2.5 TDI conversion of T4 (my second) and I love it. It is more reliable, more efficient and cheaper than some earlier models. Very gently pushed up to 50 mpg and is averaging about 40 mpg.
It has enough power for the highway and the hills.
It is important to get a service history, particularly the change cam belt with 4 years or 70,000 miles. (T4)
The model you choose depends on your budget.
Some trucks respected've too early, but found a little tired and rusty, and they need much care. Do not let the nostalgia remains poor.

Differences, the T prefix used only for VW Transporter. T is to be made for the carrier not liable.
The T4 was the first front-engine VW van and took several years, with small design changes in recent years, the T5, the latest pickup. the T26, T28 and T30 and represnent differences in models of T4/T5.
All new VW vans are very good, I personally go for a diesel engine
Economic and power. but it depends if you want a short or long wheelbase and what will do whatever they can also be a possibility of 4MOTION all-wheel drive for added security, but I'm not sure they exist road capacity.

Uh, why is van because it had no windows, if you speak the windshield and door glass (to be exact), but produced by far the best carriers in Volkswagen minibuses 1950 to 1967.

Certainly you have to find a window van, no pickup. Van no windows on the side. (Except for the driver and passengers of Windows - will not count) to ask why the VW parts department. It can be shown in the microfiche.
